Help and Accessibility
What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility consists in making websites and mobile applications, and other online public communication services, accessible to disabled users. The offered content must be perceptible (easy visual and auditive perception of content), usable, understandable and adapted to assistive technology. Digital accessibility relates to all disabilities that could affect the use of online public communication services, including physical, sensory, mental, cognitive and psychological disabilities, whether lasting or temporary.
Our accessibility policy
Digital accessibility is a constant concern while designing and developing the websites and mobile applications we provide to our customers, and also to our employees.
European directive (EU) 2016/2102
In accordance with article 47 of French Act 2005-102 of 11 February 2005 for the equality of rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship of disabled persons, transposing European Directive 2016/2102 of 2 December 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications, and in line with its ambitions and commitments, our Group is dedicated to making its websites (Internet, Intranet and Extranet) and mobile applications accessible.
We prepare and publish a multi-year programme for accessibility. Our digital accessibility policy and the annual action plans for bringing the accessibility of our websites and mobile applications into compliance are recorded in them.
Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act)
In order to better manage the regulatory obligations, an organisation was set up at Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale and its European subsidiaries.
All the services affected by the directive have been identified and listed.
A training and information strategy, with a dedicated accessibility portal, was deployed for the teams developing these services and producing content, so as to anchor accessibility in their habits.
Our content development and production process was reviewed to integrate accessibility in its different steps with a commitment to self-checks using internal tools.
Thus, over the scope to be made accessible, this process includes accessibility from the design phase and a mandatory training program, in order to be effective on compliance actions.
Audits are regularly scheduled based on the following repositories: RAWeb (repository to assess Web accessibility) for websites and RAAM (repository to assess mobile application accessibility) for mobile applications. We chose these repositories as they are currently the only ones to cover the whole European standard.
Evidence of auditing is recorder in an internal repository and the audit results of each service are published on each site hosting such services.
The details of our organisation and our processes dedicated to the accessibility of our websites, mobile applications, and digital services are set out in our accessibility policy.
Accessibility statements
An accessibility audit makes it possible to establish the level of compliance in relation to a standard.
The accessibility statement describes the conditions of the inspection and its results.
